Coming in the spring of 2007, A Chance to Dance Hawaii 2007 presents a rare opportunity to compete in an exciting venue nestled within the rich beauty of Oahu, Hawaii's "Gathering Place." Gather your team together for a bonding experience in our tropical island paradise, and bring your best routines to impress our panel of esteemed judges from across the country. Performance categories include: Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Pom-Pon, Solo, Duo, Ensemble, Show. A Chance to Dance Hawaii 2007 is presented by Drill Team Hawaii, Hawaii's premier dance group. Under the direction of Penny Young and Febray Kaopua, Drill Team Hawaii is comprised of 85 girls, ages 4-18, from public and private schools across Oahu. For over 30 years, their brilliant choreography, precision dance techniques and breath-taking gymnastics, have proven highly successful at national and international competitions from California to Florida as well as Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Vacationing in Hawaii White sand beneath your feet, a swaying palm tree above, and the blue Pacific Ocean stretching out before you to the horizon... There's no place quite like exotic Hawaii!
